Our technicians use special toolboxes outfitted with all the tools and materials needed for most service calls, so we don’t have to keep going back and forth to our truck (parked two blocks away).

We've designed and built an e-cargo trike for tools and parts, allowing us to zip right into parking garages and use the bike lanes.

We're fully insured, trained to work in high rises, offer up-front pricing, and we're locally owned.

Our fleet is 100% electric. While we still have a footprint, we are doing what we can to minimize its size.

ABOUT US
Pecan Street Plumbing was founded by Curtis Novinger - a master plumber with 30 years of plumbing experience working in downtown Austin.
Over the years Curtis noticed that companies were struggling to provide good service downtown. Many of the issues technicians faced in the area were not easy to fix. Getting parts and tools to upper floors was tough - and that's assuming parking could be found nearby. He began to imagine a more streamlined and efficient mode of service delivery, one that was friendlier to both technicians, customers and the planet. Inspired by his off-duty life as a cyclist and backpacker, he dreamed of ditching the service trucks and going hyper-local and electric. And so, Pecan Street Plumbing was born.

OUR SERVICE AREA
We focus exclusively on serving downtown Austin, with a service area extending in a 2-mile radius from the corner of Old Pecan Street and Congress. Our office on East Second Street houses tools and parts to support our all-electric fleet of trucks and trikes. We are always downtown, so we can respond quickly during emergencies and arrive on-time for scheduled service calls.
